[Fixed] Issue with B34legacy drive, only boots without it inserted!

Hey all,

I have an old Dell Inspirion 1100 laptop I am trying to review back to life.  I got Arch installed without a hitch.  However, the wireless card is an only BCM4306 PC Card and uses the b43legacy driver.  I followed the wiki and installed the firmware.  However, if the laptop boots with the card inserted, the screen turns off during the Udev part of the booting process.  Normally when booting during the UDev stage it switches the resolution from 640x480 default to 1024x768 full screen.  If the card is insert, when the video swtiches, it never comes back, event though the computer still boots and wifi still connects... very wierd.

I fail... turns out the UMA video size in bios was set to 1mb for some reason... changing that to 8mb everything works perfect...

Hurray!

Thanks,
Rich
