Can some moderator(s) move them to applications and desktop environments please?
They are not relevant to testing anymore and worst of all users keep creating new threads in there about it.
Theres gonna be lots of discussion about GNOME 3 how can be customised etc, for a long time.
That discussion is irrelevant to the testing repo forum now though. Thanks a lot in advance.

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Or alternatively, close them.

Good idea. Give us a couple of days to sort through them, merge some of them and move the remainder.

May I protest slightly?
From time to time I read the dustbin because I find some of them funny but the most recent one I saw appeared to be a fairly innocent rant about GNOME 3. I know the tone conveyed "damn, I'm so pissed off with all this stuff" rather than "here is the problem I'm trying to fix" and I know all the mods must be so busy with all these new topics but I think closing the thread and reminding the OP of the sticky would have been enough.
I mean, when someone comes onto an IRC channel and says "hello, may I ask a question?" that sentence is just as unwelcome but I don't think it qualifies as a troll.
Just a small concern. Whatever you decide, it won't be a big deal .

Great things come in tar.xz packages.

The mod team decided to start deleting threads that do not add any value to the community:

That would be the reason that it was 'binned. It was also the reason the title of that Forum was changed to just 'Dustbin'.
