How do I change one icon in Gnome shell?

More specifically how do I change the Eclipse Icon on the favorites bar? I downloaded Eclipse from their website and I just run it from within the folder I extracted.

Re: How do I change one icon in Gnome shell?

locate the eclipse.desktop file (probably in /usr/share/applications or ~/.local/share/applications). Open it with your favourite editor and replace the line that states Icon=...
Either specify a short name, for icons found in the /usr/share/icons directory and the like, or a full name like /home/username/youricon.png. Then alt+f2 and type r to restart gnome-shell (or just relogin...)
Done.
