decided I really don't like tiling window managers, so I switched back to openbox. But I really liked Awesome's panel, so I decided to attempt to emulate it in openbox, and this is the result. I must say, I am very happy with it.

I'll post my dotfiles if anyone wants them (too lazy now to archive them )

and all the dotfiles and everything http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21802312/configs/space1.tar.bz2
basically, it's xfce4-panel for the workspace switcher on the left, conky in the middle for MPD nowplaying, and CPU/RAM monitors, then another xfce4-panel on the right for clock and system tray, then tint2 on the right side, fully transparent, for window list.

Wow, Thanks... downloading now... So this is xfce4? not openbox?
To be honest, the red one is better...

@everyone:
Please follow the directions in the original post (LINK). I am subscribed and really like seeing original arrangements and interesting backgrounds/configs, but it seems that when I come to see the latest posts, most are requests for the configs or something else. To reiterate, the original post requests:
- what is running (tint2, trayer, pypanel, conky, etc.)
- themes
- conky config
Thus, most of the posts on this thread (lately, at least) are requests for what should have been listed with screenshots anyway. Hopefully this sounds reasonable.

also, the mocpcheck is messed up, you should see the word now playing and the song title and artist right at the spot where it says music on console.. but so far, when i type mocp -i on console i get some strange error, still figuring out how to fix it though.. xD
also those bars actually check for ping every 2 mins on crontab (coz my net is unstable and i sometimes get lazy to stand and check the modem [pppoe, yeah its on a strange place xD])

That's Dianna Agron.
It's a weirdly surreal picture of her though. Too much photoshop for me.
Otherwise it's a pretty desktop. What's the name of the OB theme resp. what are the variables for thickness and color of window borders?

I made the OB theme myself. Can't remember if I took another one as template...
and thanks for the name ;-)
