Loading modules fails during boot.

How can I find the super-verbose version of which modules are being loaded and which ones are failing?

Re: Loading modules fails during boot.

Have you tried /var/log/kernel.log? Maybe you first need to turn the super-verbose mode on / increase verbosity.

Re: Loading modules fails during boot.

Good call, but I think I have "fixed" whatever the problem was anyway.

I installed an older release of the current kernel version, then the failure started happening. If I install a different version of the kernel, everything loads as normally. I probably just needed to rebuild something...

Things like this happen: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 16#p939016
You have to pay attention to what mkinitcpio prints out, even if it reports SUCCESS.

kernel26-2.6.39-1 is still in testing and OP didn't say a word about using [ testing ] so I don't think so.

Re: Loading modules fails during boot.

No, but I was using the CK kernel from the AUR which was on 2.6.39, but I don't use eeprom (I don't think...)
