Hey guys.
Using the latest flash prerelease ( http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=32072 ). Watching 1080p videos on youtube works great. Even in full-screen mode the video isn't choppy or slow. However what does seem to be VERY slow in full-screen mode is the responsiveness of the flash interface.
Is this a limitation of Adobes Flash plugin, or is there something I might be able to do on my end to fix this issue?
I'm using the xf86-video-ati driver with a radeon hd 5670 card.

Did you try disabling hardware acceleration in flash? That always seems to fix my flash issues.

Try adding
OverrideGPUValidation = 1
to your /etc/adobe/mms.cfg file. That still works for me.

That has always worked for me. Did you try rebooting after the change was made and deleting your cache, flash cookies, temp files, etc..? That fix has worked for quite a while on this end. It is one of the first things I do. Maybe it is the new flash version you're using. Wish I could be of more help.
Edit: Some people in the past have reported that changing your local storage size to something higher helps too. Just open a video, right click and open settings, and go to the third tab.

Try this way: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 34#p899434
If you can't click on that video, try this one: http://www.w3schools.com/flash/tryit.as … yhtml_ball and reboot.
