Good day all,
The laptop for which I have Arch installed is a 15 inch thinkpad that almost always is plugged in. Often I need to ssh to other machines. However, when I close the lid of my laptop, the wireless connection drops and I lose all of my connections. I would very much like to avoid this fate. The only think I know for sure is that the display locks and the wireless drops out when I close the lid.
Any help is appreciated

Are you sure that laptop does not suspend?

Which dm (kde, gnome, xfce, etc.) are you using? You can disable actions for "close lid" in power managers.
Are you using laptop-mode-tools? Check your config file, or just disable demon for confirmation.
You can also disable pm-utils quirks, but honestly i don't think it's related.
Are you sure that connection isn't cut off from lack of signal? I had similar situation with some distant wifi networks. It all depends on location of antennas in notebook.

Yes, the answer was in power management. I just glanced over it about ten times. Thanks folks.
