I have had an issue come up at random, and thankfully it occurs rarely. What happens is a process completely freezes, to the point that it will freeze any other processes that try to interact with it. Running kill, killall, pkill, ps, htop, or anything else will cause said processes to become frozen along with the frozen process. Even attempting to reboot or shutdown my computer doesn't work, because the processes used for doing so also get frozen.
The only common link between these appears to be the use of networking. I've encountered it so far in Imprudence (a 3rd party client for Second Life) and in Minecraft while logging in. Any ideas or suggestions?
