Package aldabra renamed gtk-theme-aldabra for clarity- migration?

I've been 'maintaining' the rapidly developing aldabra theme (a GTK 2 port of Adwaita) in the AUR. However, a user reminded me that 'aldabra' wasn't a very descriptive name, so when 0.7 rolled around I renamed it to gtk-theme-aldabra. I apologize if this is an amateurish inquiry, but I couldn't find any information about how to migrate comments/votes to a new package name, or if that's even possible. Also, it would be great to delete aldabra since it's out of date and won't get any further updates.

Is there any possibility someone with higher authority could delete this package (aldabra) and is there any possibility at all to migrate the votes? If there is some obvious documentation or mailing list I should refer to for issues like this, please point me in the right direction.

You should post this on the mailing list. There's already a discussion on renaming packages and migrating votes and comments.
