I know it's probably me that just can't find it, but, is there a kernel package that will just install the linux kernel source, like the option that is there during the install? Having a source kernel package would be perfect for I could upgrade it just like any arch package yet I could apply my own patches and compile it with my own config.
I know I could just recompile from the sources the arch kernel installs, but I'd rather not. I'd like to keep the default arch kernel installed and up to date, as a backup in case I bugger my own compile (oh, common, everyone has done it before, accidentally turn off scsi (or ide for those folk) and you can no longer boot, we all deny it, but we've all done it...).
I guess worst case I can just make a PKGBUILD that downloads and copies the source, but it would be nice if this could be done for me (to be kept up to date), which I know is lazy but since the Arch installer gave that option I was hoping that there was a package for it.

Have a look at dibble's PKGBUILD in the wiki.
