Linux PSC recommendation (Laser B&W + Color scanner)

Hey everybody,
I'm looking into getting a multifunction device.  What I need is a black and white laser printer, and a decent scanner, nothing special.  Does anybody have any recommendations?

It seems the only thing that fits that bill is the Samsung SCX-4100, and I've heard mixed reviews from people.  What about drivers for other brands such as Brother and HP?

Thanks!

I've heard that HP products have good Linux support. Epson, if they make any multifunction devices, is also good. I don't know about any other brands. Oh, and whatever you do, don't get a Lexmark tongue

Lexmarks are great if you need a spastic rhythm section.  Lexmark was the first printer I bought, and it was horrible.  Does anyone else remember the, "PLEASE LOAD PAPER IN THE AUTO SHEET FEEDER." guy?  He was cool.

I use the Brother HL-5150D laser printer and it works flawlessly.  It's printer only with no other functions, though.
