Rhythmbox 0.6.0 is out, and it rocks.
The repository has the very out of date 0.5.1 in it. I flagged the rhythmbox package using the nifty web-interface on the day the option was introduced, so Im posting here because its been a while.

well it got it up and running now but i will have to wait to add the new rhythmbox, until gst-plugins are rebuild...

Oh, I forgot to mention, could you build it with XINE instead of gstreamer?
Its much more stable that way.

Well, w/ gstreamer, rhythmbox would seg-fault or randomly stop once every few times I used it, and with XINE, its never crashed or stopped playing.

The same issue happens with me as well, I think this was the reason why they didn't have totem compiled with gst and all that in the latest gnome release.
