Error creating filesystem - AIF

Hey,
I'm kind of stuck, I tried to use the AIF make a clean install, but it wont let me o.O.
What I did:
1. delete old /dev/sda3
2. create new partition
3. make it ext4 + / and make sda1 (my old /boot) /boot
BAM! Error creating filesystem ext4 on /dev/sda3...
4. checked alt-F7. they are already mounted. mount returns that sda3 is mounted as /mnt and sda1 as /mnt/boot ...
5. umount both
6. no more errors until system settings, all files are empty and trying to setup an admin pw just prints endless columns of not being able to do anything. It even mounted them again in the same way as before.

Any ideas?
thx 4 help smile

Re: Error creating filesystem - AIF

Have you tried making the filesystem manually from the installation media?

Re: Error creating filesystem - AIF

Works now. I had to partition it manually and it worked without problems. But whats the point in having a setup script if it breaks?
