Hi,
After an update today, flash audio quit working from Firefox4 and Chrome11. Audio works everywhere else. I tried the troubleshooting section in the wiki, but to no success. I tried downgrading flash, also to no success. I am using ALSA. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I just upgraded flash, but am not experiencing the issue.
Try deleting ~/.macromedia directory.

Maybe it's the udev upgrade: OSS emulation modules are not loaded by default, add them to rc.conf if needed.

Removing the .macromedia solved the problem. Interesting solution....but very helpful. Thanks.

I suggested that because that folder stores the flash settings. Maybe there was some corruption or conflict in the settings.
Anyway, please edit the thread title and add [SOLVED] to it.

This issue comes back almost each day here on my gf's system (gnome3+chromium).
There seem to be a problem since last update corrupting the local config files every now and then. Anybody else seeing this?

I am not experiencing it. I think you should report it upstream.
