Preload DE when still in Slim?

Hello, I'm currently running a Slim+XFCE setup and after logging in via Slim it still takes 5 or so seconds before my XFCE panel pops up. Is there a way to preload these on-startup applications to load while I'm still typing in my info on the login screen?

You can check e4rat, preload or something similar.
