hd videos playback issues

hi
I'm using Gnome player GUI with mplayer.
HD videos play not fluent at all.
What I have to set in mplayer?

my specs are:
Turion II dual core P540 and integrated video chipset
dedicated video chipset: Ati 5470 with catalyst
amd fusion technology

in addition:
catalyst drivers load the integrated video chipset, not the 5470, when X starts.
I don't know how to start catalyst control center to change powerplay settings.
Anyone could help? smile

Thanks

Re: hd videos playback issues

Check the BIOS for an option to make PCIe card (5470) the primary graphics device.
