Nvidia Xorg problems

Hi all, I am installing arch on my pc and though I have successfully installed it on several other pc's, this one is giving me problems. I am following the Beginners Guide and can't get Xorg to work. I have a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT and am trying to get X to start successfully. I have tried VESA which has just given me a garbled screen.
Running "X -configure" with nouveau installed gives this error:
(EE) [drm] No DRICreatePCIBusID symbol; number of screens does not match number of detected devices.

I have had Linux Mint installed with no problems on here, but I can't seem to get this to work.

Thanks

Re: Nvidia Xorg problems

Okay, I just installed the proprietary drivers and they worked without a hitch.
