Hi fellows. I have a Epson CX3900 printer. Two weeks ago, it was working ok connected to my Arch home server. A certain day, it suddenly stopped working. I checked the cups web interface, and my printer wasn't being detected. I tought the problem was because a recent upgrade, so i reinstalled cups and related printer packages. My printer still wasn't recognized so i removed all the cups config files and started again.
I noticed the problem was because the usblp module wasn't being blacklisted anymore due to recent changes in blacklisting. So, i blacklisted the module the new way. I restarted the server and my printer was finally seen by cups.
At that point I though everything was solved, i've added the printer using the web interface like i always did. The problem is that now, it doesn't print. Cups apparently sends the jobs to the printer, but nothing happens! And it doesn't report any error. The silence of the printer doing nothing when I try to print is driving me crazy.
Should i post any config file or log file?
Thanks!

I don't have this printer but this work for me. I have Epson NX515 and I have to install cups-usblp from AUR in order for it to work (do not blacklist usblp).

I never understood what is exactly cups-usblp. Can you clarify that for me?
Anyway, the printer is being detected now so no usblp problems. What makes me angry is that it worked ok before the reinstall.
