Yep. big_smile Great icon theme... Looks good with both bright and dark themes. And I like icons that aren't too colorful...

Could you throw a link to the Clearlooks-Edge GTK theme? I could not find it via Google or *looks, so I figured you made it or something. Cheers.

It's in bvc's Clearlooks Big Pack. There are a lot of other nice Clearlooks themes in there, too...

Ah, good deal. Cheers.

[Edit]: I downloaded the big pack but Clearlooks-Edge was not in it. However, there was a ClearlooksM that was not mentioned. It certainly does not contain Edge icons though.

FireTalon: please post a text link or a thumbnail. It makes the thread cleaner and is easier on people with slower connections.

flame away!

Although I'mnot a KDE fan, I think this looks quite nice.  One question about the KDE docker on the bottom - when you maximise a window and hover the mouse to the bottom-center of the screem, does it pop up like the Mac one does?

If it does, i'm switching.  now.

non-composite transparent panels with those applets that don't support transparent backgrounds hidden inside a drawer.

All the stuff in the upper left corner -- icons, embedded Konsole, clock, cpu/memory/hard-drive-space/network meters, email checker, and the icons at the top center of the screen are actually part of a taskbar -- windows are grouped by application/icon.

The software is kind of a superkaramba/adesklets/gdesklets clone, but using the Qt/KDE libraries and written from scratch. Plugins are written in C++ instead of python. Everything is skinnable/theme-able.  Themes are written in XML.

When I get some free time (though probably not anytime soon), I still would like to write pager and systray plugins so that I can get rid of the KPanel at the bottom right corner...

im busted sad shh!

I ordered CDs months ago, and they rocked up this week and I've been playing with it all week.

i always play with other distro's seein what's happenin, but ubuntu's been pretty impressive. I like having something for once which isnt tempting me to play with it, and change it's configuration, and doesnt have me opening a console for everything. ubuntu just worked straight off, all hardware, everything.

needless to say, my arch partitions are still there, and they arent going wink in the near future at least.
