Well, I didn't change nothing in my rc.lua and, after update, awesome doesn't start.
I tried to debug with Xephyr, but, there aren't errors in the terminal.
I'm new to awesome, is this tipical?

How do you start Awesome ?
Try to start X from a terminal without any login manager and see what output it gives. ( with Awesome in your .xinitrc )

That's the way I always do, and doesn't return anything.

Can you start X at all?

So it's probably not your X configuration, then.
When you run startx with exec awesome in .xinitrc, it just returns back to the terminal without saying anything at all? Or does it go to a blank screen and stay there?

Black screen with nothing, I tested with Xephyr according to here:

iirc,
there is some changes in rc.lua file in the newer version
please try to backup and remove the rc.lua file and restart awesome again.

I tried, it works, but, I have to change the .conf each of Awesome?
The problem is, how it isn't returning errors, I don't know what I need to fix.

Well, I discovered the cause:
I use alsa, but it isn't working, I don't know why. When I exec alsamixer as root it says cannot connect. When I use as my user open but, instead of my card (intel), it's PulseAudio.
I use the volume control widget from vicious, then, it wasn't loading.
Thanks you all by attention and patience.
