Here's the situation:
I want to download mail from my domain and store it in ~/.mail/{Inbox, Junk, etc etc etc} folders. When I send it, I don't want any "sent" files cluttering up anywhere except ~/.mail. I've looked around at a bunch of tutorials and have gotten this far:
~/.muttrc:
source /etc/Muttrc.gpg.dist
set realname="Daniel Campbell"
set from="daniel@weheartgames.net"
set use_from=yes
set reverse_name
set imap_user=daniel+weheartgames.net
set folder=imaps://secure239.sgcpanel.com
set spoolfile=+INBOX
mailboxes =+INBOX
set header_cache = ~/.mutt/hcache
set imap_keepalive = 300
set mail_check = 120
set mbox_type=Maildir
set smtp_url=smtps://daniel@weheartgames.net:*******@secure239.sgcpanel.com
set ssl_force_tls = yes
set sendmail_wait = -1
This is resulting in ~/sent/{cur,new,tmp} folders being created, while I still have ~/.mail/INBOX. What do I need to set to ensure everything's kept in one neat little directory?

I believe the option(s) you are looking for are copy and record. You can look up what they do and their defaults using "man muttrc".

Taken from my rc:
set mbox_type=maildir
set mbox="~/Mail/Incoming"
set record="~/Mail/Outgoing"
But this is explained in the manual, as already mentioned before.

Thanks! The manpage for muttrc is rather long and complicated, so it's hard to find even the simpler options.
