why do I get this crap in my email?

because you registered for some online subscription. web mail maybe? or along those lines.

Hmm. Your profile shows a hotmail.com address..... Somebody manually harvested?
EDIT The email adress is viewable when I'm not logged in..... smarter bots, maybe. /EDIT

prolly came from a harvester.. which proberly sucked up the memberlist email addys.. or from the pages and presumed you owned the site.... I did have the memberlist redirected to a blank page to try and stop spammers however judd put it back(/me parses the buck and runs
