netcfg wireless wep not work after upgrading to 2.6.1-1
I used to use "wep-old" for authentication and it works.
Now the new netcfg shows "SECURITY=none-old, wep-old are deprecated, please use none, wep instead!" and a "FAIL" then "WPA Authentication/Association Failed".
I don't know the connection between "wep"/"wep-old" and "wpa" ??

Have you tried using "SECURITY=wep"?
WPA is considered more secure than WEP. You might want to switch your wireless router to WPA and try "SECURITY=wpa".
