After a large upgrade recently, I am no longer able to run pacman -Syu properly:
~]$ sudo pacman -Syu

:: ndiswrapper: requires kernel26<2.6.39
I have seen similar problems on the forums, with wireless drivers and suchlike, which often include ndiswrapper, but they are not quite the same.

Uninstall it and get it from AUR if you still need it - lots of gear should work w/o it.

ndsiwrapper was removed from the main repos. To compile for the latest kernel, you should get it from the AUR, then upgrade. Or just remove it. Don't know what you use it for in this day and age.

A few seconds querying for ndiswrapper revealed this lovely thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=120655

Yes, but it's a discussion about the (future of the) package, not a newbie-section 'what do I do now' thread :-)
