gnome3 and logging in on resume

HI All,

I have just managed to get my Gnome3 based media box to suspend by placing  "acpi_sleep=nonvs" on the kernel command line.
However, when it resumes I am prompted for my user password ... is there any way to get around that in Gnome3?

PS: I am running gnome-shell as well ..

Cheers,
Bernie

Mine doesn't prompt for a password by default.

So you are saying, that on resume, your screen does not lock? What settings do you have.

I have set that the screen does not lock, but on resume it still does ..

Mine doesn't prompt for a password either, it does before but just stopped prompting for no good reason ... and I think I have default settings

Re: gnome3 and logging in on resume

Well I tried even giving my login no password, but it still locks on resume.

I am not sure if it is the screen lock, or the user login that is being prompted ..

Cheers,
B

EDIT: I got out dconf-editor and turned off all the lock-... options under org/gnome/power-manager, but still no joy.
