Legends FPS fails to load

Hi,

  Installed Legends https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=1163 with yaourt, which appears to work without error.  When I run legends from a terminal I get the following error:-

OK, we can't even fallback to font : '-*-courier-bold-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*'

The game fails to load, and returns me to the terminal.

I've installed various font packages to ensure I have courier-bold; including ttf-adobe-fonts, otf-texgyre, freefonts, and Type1, none of these satisfy the font requirement, and I'm quite stuck.

An internet search lead me to http://legendsthegame.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1542 which is exactly my problem.  I did poke around https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fonts to look for some clue, but to no avail.

I did notice one entry in messages.log, but it doesn't occur every time I run Legends.
