Re: Help Gnome 3 dual screen error

Try a workaround:

Are you using a xorg.conf? Try to create a new one with corrects displays resolutions and about.

If nvidia card: "nvidia-xconifg -A" for advanced configuration help,  like twinview or Xinerama:

e.g. nvidia-xconfig --twinview and nvidia-xconfig --xinerama ...

For other cards and/or more details, please read about Xorg config in Arch Wiki. big_smile

Re: Help Gnome 3 dual screen error

a program called disper may be able to help.

to get extended desktop:  disper -e
single primary display: disper -s

disper automatically detects displays and the best possible resolution.   haven't tested it on GNOME3 yet.

Re: Help Gnome 3 dual screen error

I thought disper was for nvidia?  I use ATI  5750.
I was thinking it might be because im useing catalyst?
and gnome is pickning up my graphs as VESA: JUNIPER

If you're using Catalyst, you should be configuring your displays using amdcccle.
