GRUB installed in /boot not in MBR

Hello, i installed arch and at the moment of installing grub i tried to install it in /dev/sda but it gave me an error just saying that it was NOTsuccesfully installed so i installed it in my /boot partition but now i don´t get grub on boot.
how can i fix this???
