X needs the system to be booted with the mouse unplugged

Hi,

Something really strange is happening since the first time I installed arch on my machine: as I start the X server, it begins running the mouse-wheel, even if I do not touch the mouse at all. It starts slowly and then it accelerates over and over. It is really annoying since I see all my desktops flashing all around the screen, cannot see web pages cause they auto-scroll upwards and neither can use any kind of menu..

Today I stated that if I start the computer leaving my mouse unplugged, then start the X server and plug the mouse in, it works properly.. I think it is some kind of mouse detection issue into the driver but do not know how to handle it.

I re-installed the whole thing about 5 times because of this, at first It started occurring after an upgrade, but other times the problem occurred almost randomly..

I think this is an arch-only related issue, since I used ubuntu, gentoo, and windows with no problem at all..

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
