[Solved (intel driver issue)] Terminals do not repaint with DWM

Hello!

I have Lenovo T61 with Intel graphics. Installed bare minimum to run DWM.
Now, the problem is terminals (urxvt and uxterm) do not repaint properly.
Sometimes they work OK, sometimes whole terminal is frozen, sometimes (in urxvt) only few lines are missing,
exiting mc somtimes leaves whole mc visible.
Switching tags repaints missing parts.

Other programs do not exhibit this behaviour.

Where should I start looking for a fix? Is it some wierd dwm bug

Daemons in rc.conf:

DAEMONS=(hwclock syslog-ng dbus wicd alsa crond @cpufreq @sshd)

.xinitrc is simple exec dwm

X is started with inittab init 5 and xdm with archlinux design.

This could be the same issue as discussed in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=117202. There should be no such problems with vte-based terminals, e.g. lilyterm or evilvte. On my box, a simple pacman -Syu was enough to get rid of this problem, I seem to remember there was an intel driver update the other day.

Thanx walex, good find - my search-fu was weak.

I was going to write about flash issue but then I notice this is also mentioned there.

Anyways, TY for info, going to replace my terminal for now.
