I used to have a different wallpaper for each desktop, I did an update, and suddenly no matter what I do, i have widgets for each desktop, different activity per desktop checked etc.. I've been going back and forth, and no matter what I do, when I change desktop wallpaper its the same wallpaper for all desktops.. any ideas what may've changed.. been using arch for almost 2 years esclusively.. I have no clue what happened..
thanks, I know it's stupid, but I just cant figure it out

It sounds very much like KDE4.

I just took the check out "different widgets for each desktop" closed it, reopened it, and put the check back in, then I noticed a long progress bar finding all my pictures in a folder, and suddenly every desktop had a different picture, with different slideshow times like it was.. sorry to post something so simplistic.. but it was annoying till a simple answer cured the problem.. kinda like "when all else fails reboot" type of thing.. thanks!
