I recently tried to connect to an Arch machine from an os X machine using nxmachine client. Connect went fine, but when I tried to use emacs it would not launch; there was an error that it couln't find black. I looked on nx website and found a link that nx looks for colors in /etc/X11/rgb.txt, but apparently in Arch the rgb.txt file is deprecated. I had an older machine that still had /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt and copied it over, and now everything works fine.
Q: Is this a known issue with a better fix?
