Hej,
I am currently working on a presentation that is to be constantly running on a screen in the foyer of my institute. I want every page of the presentation to be displayed a different amount of time, as some pages show only images and others show quite some amount of text. I thought some scriptable pdf viewer would do great here, but I cannot seem to find any such thing. Does someone know about an elegant solution to this problem?

What about using feh ? It is an image viewer so you will have to convert your slide to an image format. feh accept a lot of argument through the command line, including slideshow timing, loop, etc so you should be able to make a nice script.
