can't open Terminal archlinux+xfce4

hello,everyone. i have a trouble today
when i dobule click Terminal icon on the desktop but it said that "Failed to execute child. grantpt failed: Exec format error." ,i don't konw how to solove thie problem,who can help me ,thank you .

Did you have a look at Google? What does the shortcut actually link to? Can you manually execute (alt+f2) xterm? Did you install the "terminal" package or an alternative terminal?

Why don't you post your shortcut? (right-click on icon, open with your editor, and other such stuff...)

Try to replace exo-open with /usr/bin/exo-open, mantaining --launch TerminalEmulator.

Or, directly try writing exec=terminal or exec=/usr/bin/terminal (being xfce your DE...)
