Is there any way to build a custom install disk for Arch Linux? I'm planning on removing my add-in PCI network card so that I can use the onboard one and free up a PCI slot. However, my on-board requires a the r8168 driver, which isn't in the kernel and had to be built from AUR.
What I'm looking to do is make either
A) a custom install CD that has the r8168 built off of AUR, plus its dependencies and a current snapshot of the system packages.
B) a netinstall CD that has the r8168 driver included on it.

Try one of the testisos or use archiso.

Archiso looks like it exactly fits my needs. Thanks for the help!

FYI you don't need to reinstall to change hardware.

I'm aware of that. I might need to do a reinstall later in the future however (for whatever reason), so I want to be prepared.

FYI , Isolinux allows mods to .iso for cd/dvd.......
