[Re-installed Arch]v4l-DVB causes crash

I installed v4l-dvb from the media git in hopes of getting my capture card to work (em28xx). I think I installed it wrong? (there were no errors) Because whenever I load anything that checks my camera, like tinychat, cheese, etc, linux sort of "crashes". I don't know if this is a kernel panic or what, but here's the error:

This also shows up on start up. In gnome I used to be able to just press the windows key and close the error screen (white text on black), but I can't do so on dwm. I've tried reinstalling my kernel (pacman -S kernel26), but it doesn't do anything. Is there a way I can fix this without re installing? Thanks.

Could someone help me please? I get this whenever I visit an application that tries to use my camera. I have to hard restart my computer.
