Hi!
you can find the latest archiso testbuilds @ http://releng.archlinux.org/isos/
when you run them, please report your successes and failures on http://www.archlinux.org/releng/feedback/
the more quality feedback you provide, the quicker/better new releases will come.
And preferrably, try to test options which are not tested yet by others, or which were reported to fail, or which were tested with old images.
for more info, see

thanks!

unfortunately your report is worthless.
if something fails, you should explain more in detail what went wrong and/or link to a bug ticket.

I said more in the feedback form.
Some bash script bugs prevent me from partitioning the disk.

are you serious? your comment in your entry only says "fail to partition the HD."
now you think the above will help me any further?
this is not helpful at all.
report the bug and provide at least the error that occured.

Sorry. The testing requires me to actually format the disk using auto prepare. It is time-consuming to confirm it again.
All I did on that day is download the image and try to partition my disk. Aif quits right after the partition process, and I tried at least two times.

The function above causes the bug, I dont have time to look into this bug and test it again. A ticket is opened.
Thats all I have to tell you.

Just installed archlinux-2011.06.10-netinstall-i686.iso on Asus Eee PC 901 - SUCCESS!
On Archiso boot I saw this:
...
:: Starting Syslog-NG [DONE]
Warning: This functionality is deprecated
Please refer to /etc/rc.conf on how to define a single wired
connection, or use a utility such as netcfg.
:: Starting Network [DONE]
...
On installed system this warning also appears, but with an error:
...
:: Starting Network [DONE]
/etc/rc.d/network: line 68: /sbin/ifconfig: No such file or directory
...
I have wired eth0 with DHCP. I fixed both warning and error by defining "a single wired connection" as described in rc.conf and removing old network setup directives. Looks like installation script doesn't read news about Deprecation of net-tools: ifconfig is a part of net-tools which was deprecated and not installed by default. Do I need report bug?

Hi Dieter,
Will there be any newer releng iso images be uploaded in the next couple of days by any chance?
I'm bandwidth starved and would rather wait a bit if a newer version is on the way soon.
Edit: On second though I will just bite the bullet and get 2011.06.10 dual netinstall now.
