Skype and webcam, again
Hi, my wife uses asus f5vl laptop with integrated webcam. It uses stk11xx driver and webcam works fine in vlc (when I open video stream /dev/video0). However, video in skype does not work. I followed tips on arch wiki (LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype), and a lot of tips in this forum (e.g. export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1), but the result is still the same: when I start skype, the green LED on webcam turns on and after few seconds turns off.
Where could be the problem? This webcam used to work in skype (a long time ago).
dmesg is with no error.

Get luvcview from the AUR and post the output of 'luvcview -L'
unfortunately, I am not able to build it because:
luvcview.c:36:28: fatal error: linux/videodev.h: Adresář nebo soubor neexistuje
ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build luvcview
The package was marked as out of date: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7763
I think videodev.h is not a part of kernel since 2.6.38
the webcam is identified as: Bus 001 Device 003: ID 174f:6a31 Syntek Web Cam - Asus A8J, F3S, F5R, VX2S, V1S
