It says your cpu can run 64-bit system, so install the 64-bit (i.e. x86-64) version.

Re: Which Architecture choose...

It is your system.  You decide.

IMHO, go for the x86_64

Re: Which Architecture choose...

The best way to know if one is really going to benefit from the x86_64 architecture is to simply install the system and test it in real life situations. I stick with i686 because Wine and Adobe Air (which I both need, unfortunately) work really seamlessly there, and the difference between 32bit and 64bit efficiency (in case of my computer) was not that huge to make much difference. The theory of both architectures we all know well, but the practice is quite the other thing.

64bit vs 32bit is about much more than just the amount of ram supported. You usually get twice the number of registers, they are larger, you get larger floats etc, all which can make a noticable difference.
Edit: wine runs perfectly fine on a 64bit system. You just need a few 32bit libs to run 32bit apps, which really doesn't take up that much hd space.
