[SOLVED] Installation of printer networking oki C5650

Hi everybody,

I tried to install and print in a oki C5650 wich I have in my home network. I follow the archwiki to do it, but I have no succes. When I try to print the system says me "C5650 may be not connected" and following by another message saying "job complete" but nothing happens
.
Tired of this situation I installed in Ubuntu, in a virtual machine, and there's no problems. I've also to say I can't use the "system-config-printer-gnome" in Arch because when I write the IP of the printer I can't press the "Next" button, so I use cups (localhost:631).

I also tried to stop the cupsd daemon, paste the Ubuntu's printers.conf file in the Arch's one and start the daemon but doesn't works (and there's some 2 or 3 lines different, like the port number in Ubuntu exists, in Arch no -¿?¿?¿?- I think is very important the port number!!).

I don't know how to go on, so any idea?
Thank you very much!

Re: [SOLVED] Installation of printer networking oki C5650

Solution:

I solved my own problem, I missed the package called foo2zjs, I tried to install it with yaourt but the md5sum was out of date, so yaourt don't let me install it. So I download the package, I calculated the md5sum with cat foo2zjs.tar.gz | md5sum then I got the md5sum of this package (9c4b7c62e6181a815e0123f6575972ea) I edited the PKGBUILD and changed the md5sum.

Then I ran system-config-printer and I did the same than Ubuntu.

Hope will be useful for somebody!

Cheers!
