pictures in wiki, is this possible?

I would like to add a picture to the wiki. Is this possible/wanted?

Yes, it's possible, but I don't think it's a must have. Currently, you're not allowed to upload pictures to the wiki but you can post links if the pictures are really helpful.
Can you give any particular example where you would like to see pictures?

I would like to add a picture explaining the datastreams while decoding digitenne.

Have you tried http://www.asciiflow.com/ or some other tool to write that diagram in ASCII?
