startx results in hostname not found and no screens... [solved]

I have installed the base arch system as well as:
xf86-video-intel xorg-server xorg-xinit xorg-twm xorg-xclock xterm dbus

When I enter startx I get:
http://ubuntuone.com/p/161p/

At the start of the error it says 'hostname not found'. The hostname in rc.conf and hosts is the default 'myhost'.

The file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ is empty.

/etc/inittab
id:5:initdefault

I'm not sure what I'm missing.

The important thing is you're running it in VirtualBox, right? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ar … lBox_Guest

IIRC the hostname error is harmless.

And thanks for mentioning the hostname error. It still happens but at least I can forget about it now.
