Hi,
after upgrading everything compiz-related today, my title bar changed to the default compiz cairo decorator.
downgrading to 0.8.6 changes them back to my current theme adwance with metacity.
I'm not using any DE, just exec ck-launch-session compiz ccp.
0.8.6:
0.8.8:
Anyone experience the same or got any ideas?
*edit*: apps->gwd->use_metacity_theme is enabled
Chris

my guess is something to do with emerald themes. perhaps the theme got changed or the default was changed to gtk window theming which would use metacity instead of the more elegant emerald window manager.

I think the issue may be that gtk-window-decorator is reverting to its Cairo window decorations. see http://wiki.compiz.org/Decorators/GTKWindowDecorator
I am having the same issue since the update and I use gtk-window-decorator. I have metacity installed and have looked at my gconf options in apps>metacity>general but changing options there seems to have no effect on my decorators. I have also double checked that gconf>apps>gwd>use_metacity_theme is set to true but I think the default cairo theme still seems to be active.
not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing some configuration somewhere...

It's an archlinux bug, rebuilding (from ABS) against new metacity etc. solves it

cool. I see you've reported the bug too, thanks.
