I have set up synergy with my desktop and my notebook using one display on my desktop pc and and an external display on my notebook. The desktop runs the synergy server and the notebook connects via ssh as a client. Now i wonder if it is possible to change the focus from the notebook-displays to the desktop-display just using the keyboard. I can focus the notebook-displays running xdotool on the desktop:
xdotool mousemove 0 0 but this is not possible the other way round. If i run
xdotool mousemove 3500 500 on my notebook the pointer stops at the right side of the notebook-display.
