[SOLVED] Stuck booting into GDM

Hi,

I recently installed WICD and foolishly added it to my daemons without fully testing. I'm suspecting its causing my GDM to freeze once it appears on my screen. How do get back into runlevel 3 or force a boot inot my command-line? I'm using GRUB boot loader if that helps.

thanks in advance
Kerdum

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck booting into GDM

nevermind found it in the wiki...

From the GRUB menu, you can specify the runlevel in the kernel line by adding a number to the end of the kernel line specifying the run level you want. The following example sets the run level to 3:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/disk/by-uuid/..ro 3
