EFI Boot, Grub2, GPT, SSD

I Recently got a new motherboard(P8P67 Pro) with UEFI, so I want to try EFI Boot and Grub2.

My plan is:

Partition my SSD(Intel X-25M 80GB gen2) with GParted like this:

1MIB free for correct SSD alignment
200MB FAT-32 EFI SYSTEM PARTION
20GB EXT4 /

Looks OK?

So I'm thinking I can launch the installation media via boot from EFI DVD/USB, and install arch 2011.02-2 archboot like I normally do just install Grub2 instead, which is included on this newest release.

Am I on the right track? Something I'm forgetting here?

Re: EFI Boot, Grub2, GPT, SSD

In theory it should work without any issues, if you use the latest 2011.02 ArchBoot disk and let the installer create your GPT partition and install Grub2-EFI (which will create the needed EFI partition), it should be pretty easy. If you can boot the ArchBoot disk via EFI mode and reach the setup screen ok you shouldn't need to worry about patching the kernel otherwise if you have issues like the framebuffer not appearing, you might need to apply some kernel patches before you can get Arch booting under EFI.
