Problem with USB-Device NOT AUTORIZED

Hallo,

i can't mount my usb device. I tried all on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL and I tried even https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/21391 that it doesn't work. I use LXDE as windowmanger.

How do you mount your device? What DE if any are you suing?

I tried https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 23#p963723 still doesnt work When i blug in my portibal harddrive it shows on PCManFM but i can't mount it. It says not autorized

How are you starting LXDE? Do you have consolekit installed?

If you are using Slim login manager, make sure you set it up as so:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Slim#PolicyKit

I use the Xdm as login manger and consolekit 0.4.5-1 is installed

It's great that you have it installed, but what's the exact command you use to run lxde?

Sorry did read that I start it in .xinit with exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch startlxde
