[SOLVED] KDE Desktop Icon Size Issue

I changed my desktop from the regular "desktop" to "grid desktop" so I could have the icons lined up properly. Upon changing this, the icons all resized themselves to being tiny. Interestingly enough, when I add certain icons such as LibreOffice ones, they appear large and the standard size. When I try to change the icon sizes in the System Settings under Appearance, it has no effect.

Any ideas?

Re: [SOLVED] KDE Desktop Icon Size Issue

The grid desktop isn't called that because it lets you arrange icons in a grid. I assume you were seeking a traditional desktop with icons and stuff. Switch your desktop type to Folder View for that behavior.

The grid desktop lets you resize widgets on a grid. Basically, you can add/remove gridlines to the X and Y axis and drag widgets to resize in steps of one block in each direction. In other words, the grid isn't for position, it's for size.
