[Solved] - Garena on wine

I wish to run WOW and Garena using wine to play DoTa. I have a x86_64 Arch install fully updated. I needed a patched version of wine for WOW to allow certain port access. Thus I used the one in the AUR as wine-wc3. WOW runs perfectly but I'm unable to run Garena over this version of wine (or even the latest version) although it has a gold classification on WineHQ. I hope someone can advise me on why this error is occurring.

PS: I was able to run Garena on wine in multilib repo a few months ago. Maybe some update to some other package is causing this.

Well franky, I don't remember which version of wine it was working for. But as you suggest, I'll try it on the one mentioned on WineHQ. But then I'll have to patch manually and compile using a chroot environment which didn't work for me last time I tried. Its tedious and I couldn't find out all the depedencies required to compile wine.
But as there is no other option I'll have to do this someday.
For now I just restart into windows to play (which I don't like to)

Using winetricks and installing ie6 over wine solved this problem.
