jPilot for non-root users /dev/tty/0 permissions

Stumped while trying to set devfs to maintain permission for /dev/ttyS0 [root:users] rwrw
on reboot

I added this to /etc/devfs.conf

REGISTER ^tty/.* PERMISSIONS root.users 660
REGISTER ^ttyS* PERMISSIONS root.users 660

Off to using Peanut and Slackware, no hard feelings but I need my CD to burn, PDA and scanner to connect and arch won't do it.

Re: jPilot for non-root users /dev/tty/0 permissions

Change that ^tty/* to ^tts/*.  /dev/tty is a device, /dev/tts is where all the ttyS's go...
